I hope it has T-tops! Gotta love that 4500-rpm redline
The 91-92 years are the best because of the giant cupholders on the doors

White, and sadly no basketweaves, but it was $2500 so they’ll be the first thing I buy

Hell Yeah it’s got T tops! And I like the early ones better, the front bumper looks a bit nicer. Mines an 87

Nice!!!!!! 86s only had the 85 mph speedo, damn that thing looks clean!!! Also in 87 the 3rd brake light moved down instead of being high on the hatch.

Haha! Another convert. Idk what about these cars, there just seems to be some “it” factor, some unknown awesomeness. Probably because Pontiac had to get kinda nutty to upsell over the Camaro.

Yeah I was a bit confused by that exchange too. Looking back it seems he was joking about it not being a Pontiac.

Ain’t nuthin wrong with F bodies except the stereotype. I’m keeping my eye out for a early 80's iron duke base model Camaro, 4 speed and all. Put a big ass ebay turbo and see how long it will eat. I just really want a clean slick top.

I can’t think of another car with such a huge gap in desirability between trim levels. Normal F body firebirds do nothing for me, but a GTA is a dream car of mine.

Gotcha. I didn’t even know there is an active Oppo FB - all I’ve ever seen is the page that is almost never updated. I guessed GTA when you said something American that had similar wheels to the E30 M3... it was the first thing that came to mind with basket weaves.
